Planning Research Based on the Backward Design Approach

About the talk

The session focused on planning scientific research based on the "Backward Design" approach.
During the masterclass, researchers received practical guidance on:
▫️ planning research by starting with the final outcome;
▫️ clearly defining the expected scientific novelty;
▫️ formulating evidence to substantiate the scientific novelty;
▫️ selecting a research methodology aligned with the objectives and expected results.

By completing practical exercises following the sequence of *research question → scientific novelty → evidence → method*, participants gained new skills in planning their research logically and coherently. The core concept of the masterclass was that a well-planned study—based on the "Result → Evidence → Method" principle—is the essential foundation for high-quality scientific outcomes.
