Urinov Bobur Nasilloevich, Doctor of Science in Economics (DSc), Professor, successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics in January 2019, specializing in 08.00.13 – Management. His PhD dissertation was entitled “Effectiveness of the Corporate Method of Human Resource Management in Enterprises.” In January 2026, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Economics (DSc) in the related specializations 08.00.13 – Management and 08.00.07 – Finance, Money Circulation and Credit. His DSc dissertation was entitled “Improving the Methodology for Increasing the Capital Value of Joint-Stock Companies through Good Corporate Governance.” He currently continues his research activities in the fields of corporate governance, management, human resource management, strategic management and innovative development.
B.N. Urinov initially studied at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in World Economy and International Economic Relations. In 2008, he graduated from the Master's program at Tashkent State University of Economics, specializing in International Economic Relations.
His academic career began in 2009 at Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology, where he worked as a Lecturer at the Department of Management from 2009 to 2014. During this period, he taught courses including International Economic Relations, World Economy, International Management, Management, and other related subjects. He also developed teaching and methodological materials, presentations, handouts and examination materials.
From 2015 to 2019, B.N. Urinov worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Corporate Governance of Tashkent State University of Economics, conducting research as part of his PhD dissertation. Following the successful defense of his dissertation, he continued his teaching career at the same department, delivering courses related to corporate governance and its practical application. As a Senior Lecturer, he was involved in developing syllabi and teaching materials for the courses he taught and supervised undergraduate and graduate students' graduation and research projects.
In subsequent years, B.N. Urinov held a number of leadership positions in higher education, including Deputy Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Corporate Governance, as well as Head of the International Cooperation Department (2019–2020) and Head of the Department of Corporate Governance (2020–2024). Since September 2024, he has served as Head of the Department of Innovation Management, continuing his academic, research and administrative activities.
B.N. Urinov is the author and co-author of a number of scientific publications, monographs and teaching and methodological works in the fields of corporate governance, management, human resource management and higher education.
He has also participated in academic mobility programs, research projects, lectures, international training programs, internships and professional development programs in the United States, China, India, Russia, Austria, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Türkiye. As a result, B.N. Urinov has accumulated more than 15 years of academic, research and professional experience in the fields of corporate relations, management, human resource management (HRM) and higher education administration.
