On March 25, 2026, at 1:30 PM, a meaningful, engaging, and intellectually stimulating event based on the book Why Nations Fail was organized in Room 3/302 for students studying in the “Management” educational program. The main objective of the event was to enhance students’ reading culture, introduce them to important perspectives on the development of the global economy and society, and develop their independent thinking and analytical skills.
A total of 15 students actively participated in the “Book Lovers” Tournament, demonstrating their knowledge, intellectual ability, quick thinking, and understanding of the content of the book. In particular, the questions concerning the factors influencing the economic and political development of countries, the role of institutions in societal development, and the relationship between historical processes and the present day generated significant interest among the students.
At the end of the event, the participants’ results were reviewed, and the students who achieved the highest scores were identified. According to the final results, Baxriddinov Behruzbek took 3rd place, Khudoyberdiyev Samandar took 2nd place, and the honorable 1st place was awarded to Mamadiyorov Shoxrux. The winners and active participants were duly recognized, and their interest in reading and intellectual engagement were highly appreciated.
