
Head of Department Meets Graduating Students
The Head of the “Innovative Management” Department of the “Management” Faculty at Tashkent State University of Economics, Professor B.N.Urinov, together with the department’s coordinators for graduating courses, G.Djurayeva and B.Mardiyev, held a meeting with students of groups MNP-75/23, MNP-76/23, MNP-25/23r, MNP-26/23r, MNP-28/23i, KB-75/23, KB-76/23, KB-28/23i on the following topics: the mentoring system (supervision), the final state attestation, the choice between State Attestation Commission (SAC) examinations and the graduation qualification paper (GQP), the organization and deadlines of the pre-graduation internship, the career.edu.uz electronic platform, and programs and methodological materials. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize graduating students with the organizational arrangements for the 2026–2027 academic year, the final state attestation, the pre-graduation internship, and the procedure for preparing the graduation qualification paper. Supervisors from among the department’s teaching staff will be assigned to graduating students (four to five students per teacher), and the relevant order will be announced in the coming days; the mentoring system is intended to provide targeted support and monitoring throughout the academic year in matters related to graduation papers, internships and academic issues, including for students living in university dormitories and rented apartments. The students were informed about the differences between the SAC examinations and the defense of the GQP, as well as the relevant criteria and requirements; those who wish to write a GQP must submit a formal application to the department by November 1, clearly stating the chosen topic and the academic supervisor from among the department’s teaching staff. The pre-graduation internship will take place from January to May, and students must submit information about their internship placement (enterprise or organization) in the form of an application by November 1. Starting from the 2026–2027 academic year, the internship process will be organized in a fully digital format through the career.edu.uz platform, and the Dean’s Office will provide additional information. Internship programs, guidelines for writing the GQP, sample applications and requirements can be obtained from G.Djurayeva at the department.
