Tashkent State University of Economics welcomes motivated applicants who are ready to develop their knowledge, skills, and professional potential in economics, management, business, finance, and related fields.
Admission to undergraduate programs is conducted in accordance with the admission quotas established under the relevant decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers.
Applicants may be admitted on the basis of state-funded grants or tuition-based contracts. Within the established admission quota, applicants with the highest admission scores are recommended for state-funded places, while other applicants are considered for admission on a tuition-contract basis according to their ranking.
Admission Process
Beginning with the 2026/2027 academic year, admission to bachelor's degree programs at state higher education institutions follows the “First Test, Then Selection” principle.
The admission process consists of two stages:
01 — Registration & Entrance Tests
Applicants first register for the entrance tests without selecting a university or bachelor's degree program.
According to the current admission procedure, applicants:
- register for the entrance test online;
- take the unified entrance examinations;
- receive their test results through the official online system.
02 — University & Program Selection
After completing the entrance tests, applicants select their preferred:
- Higher education institution
- Bachelor's degree program
- Mode of study
Selection is made based on the applicant's test results and the established admission quotas.

Applicants should carefully follow the official announcements regarding registration dates, examination schedules, available programs, quotas, and admission requirements.
Entrance Examinations
Entrance examinations are organized by the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The examination subjects and assessment procedures depend on the selected bachelor's degree program and are determined in accordance with the current national admission requirements.
Important: Applicants should check the official admission information for their selected program before registration, as examination subjects and admission requirements may be updated from year to year.
Admission Results
Applicants can access their examination results through the official online admission system.
Information regarding admission recommendations is published through the relevant official channels after the admission process and ranking have been completed.
Admission recommendations are determined based on:
- entrance examination results;
- applicant ranking;
- established admission quotas;
- state-funded grant places;
- tuition-contract places;
- applicable preferential admission provisions.
Documents for Newly Admitted Students
Applicants who are recommended for admission must submit the required documents to the University within the established period.
The required documents may include:
- Application addressed to the Rector
- Copy of passport or identification document
(original presented for verification) - Original secondary education certificate or diploma with transcript
- Original language-proficiency certificate, if applicable
- 3.5 × 4.5 cm photographs
- Original document confirming preferential admission eligibility, if applicable
