At Tashkent State University of Economics, students can pursue their education through state-funded grants or tuition-based contracts. The University also provides scholarship and tuition-support opportunities designed to recognize academic excellence and support students from different social backgrounds.
Scholarships
State-Funded Grants
State-funded grants provide full tuition coverage for students who are awarded a grant.
For newly admitted students, initial grant allocation is based on their results in the national admission examinations. Grant places are allocated within the established admission quotas.
Grant Redistribution
Vacant grant places may subsequently be redistributed among students in accordance with the established national procedure.
According to the current framework, redistribution takes place twice a year, and contract-based students may compete for available grant places.
Eligibility includes academic performance and student engagement. The current criteria include:
- GPA of at least 4.0/5.0
- No academic debts
- Research, social, or other student activities
The selection weighting is based on:
70% — Academic performance
20% — Research and/or social engagement
10% — Discipline and other factors
Special & Named Scholarships
High-achieving students may also have access to Presidential and named state scholarships, as well as other scholarship opportunities.
These may include scholarships named after prominent national scholars and figures, as well as corporate scholarships supported by banks and businesses.
Scholarship opportunities and eligibility requirements may vary by academic year. Students should follow official University announcements for current calls and application procedures.
Tuition Fees
Students who are not admitted to a state-funded grant place may study on a tuition-contract basis.
Tuition fees are determined according to the student's:
- Degree level
- Bachelor's program
- Mode of study
- Applicable tuition-fee regulations

Tuition fees can be paid through several channels, including:

Students can access their tuition contracts through the kontrakt.edu.uz platform.
Tuition Payment Schedule
Tuition fees are generally paid in installments during the academic year. The published 2025/2026 schedule was:
25% — by October 31
50% — by December 31
75% — by February 28
100% — by April 1
For newly admitted students, deadlines may differ according to decisions of the State Commission.
