Ulugbek Yusupov Shukrullaevich began his professional career in 2012 as a trainee-researcher at the Department of Management of the Tashkent State University of Economics. From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a senior research fellow at the same department; during this period (from 11 December 2014 to 11 September 2015), he completed a professional internship at the University of Deusto (Spain).

From 2015 to 2017, he served as an assistant at the Department of Management of the Tashkent State University of Economics. From 2020 to 2023, he continued his academic activity there as a senior lecturer, and in 2023–2024 he held the position of acting associate professor at the Department of Management. Since 1 April 2024, he has been continuing his scientific and pedagogical activity as acting associate professor at the Department of Innovative Management of the Tashkent State University of Economics.

He defended his PhD dissertation in the field 08.00.13 – Management on 31 March 2022.

In his teaching activity, Ulugbek Yusupov Shukrullaevich delivers undergraduate courses in Management, Strategic Management and Innovation Management, teaching these subjects in English. His English proficiency corresponds to C2 level according to the CEFR.

He is the author of a textbook on Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (2022), a textbook Developing a Business Plan (2021), and a monograph Improving the Management Efficiency in Textile and Knitting Companies (2023).
